CD12-06: Boeun, Narrative Song about Potherbs
(Boeun, Chungbuk Province/ Kim, Jeom-rye(77yrs)/ 1993)
◆ Although most of the songs about potherbs simply lists the names of various plants, this song includes detailed description of picking the potherbs and cooking them, and finally offering them to her dead husband. The varied words of mimicry that appear in this song are very interesting.
